He was born Jan. 10, 1941, in Oakland. Mr. Dunniway lived in Newark for 27 years and spent most of his life in the Bay Area, until relocating to Lockeford four and a half years ago. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1958 to 1962. He married Nola Wagner in 1962 in San Lorenzo. He was employed as a stockbroker for over 30 years, and worked for Merrill-Lynch. He enjoyed sports including golf, but especially enjoyed baseball and football. He was a historian of the Civil War and other periods of history. He was a member of the Church of Christ. James Dunniway He is survived by his wife, Nola Dunniway, Lockeford; daughter, Deena Dunniway, of Lockeford; sons, James Dunniway, of Lockeford and Erin Dunniway, of Tracy; brother, Ron Dunniway; and seven grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lodi Funeral Home with George C. Garrison of Church of Christ officiating. There will be no visitation.
