Cassandra Joelle Emery 

Dec. 28, 1988 — Jan. 30, 2006

Rosary and visitation will be Wednesday for Tokay High School junior Cassandra 
Joelle Emery, 17, who died Jan. 30, 2006 at Lodi Memorial Hospital.

Cassandra was born and raised in Tracy and lived in Acampo for the last seven 
years. She loved amusement parks, animals and drawing.

Cassandra is survived by her father, Edward Emery, and his wife, Anamarie, of 
Tracy; and her mother Tami Hernandez of Castro Valley; siblings, Justin and 
Janna Emery, both of Tracy, Melissa and Rebecca Deshera, and Anthony 
Hernandez, all of Castro Valley; uncle, John Celestre Jr. of Union City; 
aunts, Lisa Celestre of Modesto and Christy Holmes of Livermore; grandparents, 
Paul and Andrea Emery Sr. of Manteca, Greg and Diane Jones of Pleasanton and 
John Sr. and Susan Celestre of Victorville.

Wednesday’s rosary will begin at 4 p.m. at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central 
Ave. Visitation will be observed from 1 to 7 p.m. at the chapel, followed by a 
vigil at 7. Interment will be private.
