Eleanor Engblom 
Eleanor D. Engblom, 88, of Lodi, died March 14 in a local convalescent hospital 
following a brief illness. She was born Eleanor D. Walters on July 14, 1916, in 
Tracy.

Mrs. Engblom lived in Tracy and moved to Lodi about 30 years ago. She worked as 
a secretary for 25 years for Department of the Defense in Tracy. She enjoyed 
needlepoint. 

She is survived by her grandsons, Phillip Wallis Engblom, of Lodi, and 
Nathaniel Lee Engblom, of San Diego; and great-grandson, Matthew D. Engblom, of 
Colusa.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Orvan Wallis Engblom; daughter, Karen 
Triart; and son, Wallis Lee Engblom.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. March 24 at the Tracy Public 
Cemetery with Don Higgins officiating.

Nautilus Society is in charge of arrangements.
