Daniel Esparza 
Daniel Esparza, 94, of Galt, died July 5 in Sacramento.

He was born in Mexico on Jan. 3, 1911, and moved to Dinuba at the age of 4, 
where he lived for 85 years. He has lived in Galt for six years. 

Mr. Esparza was a wine maker for Christian Bros. Winery for 25 years and was 
also a farmer. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, gardening, camping and sports.

He is survived by his children Daniel Esparza, of Denair, Arthur Esparza, of 
San Jose, Robert Esparza, of Galt, and Frances Sweeney, of Visalia; his brother 
Philip Esparza, of Dinuba; 16 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren; and 14 
great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Guadalupe and a son, Richard Esparza.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. at Dopkins Funeral Chapel in 
Dinuba. A graveside service will be held Monday at 9 a.m. at Smith Mountain 
Cemetery.

Dopkins Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
