Elisa Retamoza 
April 24, 1918 - April 12, 2005



Elisa Serna Retamoza, a native of Arizona, passed away in Stockton on Tuesday, 
April 12, 2005. She was the beloved wife of Fred Retamoza and loving mother of 
Sally Franse of Stockton, Caroline Schmidt of Galt and Stella Pompei of Lodi. 
She was the dear grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 6; she is also 
survived by her brothers and sisters, Eleanor Cohn of Richmond, Lucy Cesena of 
Visalia, Ike Sanchez of Firebaugh, CA, Eleanor Bennett of Shingle Springs, 
Raymond Sanchez of Exeter, CA, George Sanchez of Utah, Vera Askland of Visalia 
and Connie Gonzales of Exeter and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Retamoza 
enjoyed working with crafts and was an avid gardener.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Service at DeYoung Shoreline 
Chapel, 7676 Shoreline Drive, Stockton, CA 95219 on Monday, April 18, 2005 at 
11:00 a.m. Visitation will be at the DeYoung Shoreline Chapel in the morning 
prior to the service, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Avenue, 
Stockton, CA 95204.
