Born in Lehr, N.D., he married Katherine Rau in 1927 in Ashley, N.D. He moved to Lodi in 1941, where he worked as a carpenter for various firms, including 15 years with Super Mold Corp. Faszer retired in 1968. He was a member of Century Assembly Church. Faszer is survived by his wife, Katherine Faszer of Lodi; one son, Jerome, of Sacramento; one daughter, Mrs. Judy Tate of Santa Barbara; two brothers, Fred of Seattle, Wash., and John of Lodi; four sisters, Mrs. Pauline Hindenbrand, Mrs. Lydia Aman, Mrs. Mollie Priebe and Mrs. Ella Liebelt, all of Lodi, and six grandchildren. Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the Lodi Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Harold Duncan and Rev. William Tate officiating. Internment will be in Cherokee Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Wednesday.
