Layne Fiet 
Allen "Layne" Fiet, 50, of Lodi, died suddenly on July 13 in his home. He was 
born July 16, 1954, in Rupert, Idaho.

Mr. Fiet was employed as a truck driver for many years. He was a member of the 
Mormon Church. 

He enjoyed his cats, fishing, and NASCAR racing. He also enjoyed spending time 
with his best friend in Modesto, Jason.

He is survived by his parents, Floyd and Elaine Fiet, of Wendell, Idaho; 
sisters, Jenness Fiet, of Wendell, Idaho, Leslie Nelson, of Logan, Utah, and 
Shirley Metts, of Kimberly, Idaho; brother, Clair Fiet, of Salt Lake City, 
Utah; and companion, Randi Hanson, of Lodi.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Fiet.

Private services and burial were held in Idaho.

Memorial contributions may be made to Floyd and Elaine Fiet, 1823 E. 2950 S., 
Wendell, Idaho, 83355.

Gierhart-Wells and Donahue Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
