Flood October 15, 1917 - March 23, 2005 George M. Flood, 87, a native of Silverton, OH, was called home to fix Heaven's oven on Wednesday, March 23, 2005 in Stockton, CA. Mr. Flood was a long time Stockton resident and owned George M. Flood Appliance Service for 45 years. He was a WWII Army/Air Force Veteran and received the Bronze Star. He helped to build the Hoover-Tyler Little League diamonds in West Stockton. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Maralyn and his children; son, Doug and wife Linda; daughter, Sheryl Crowson of Waterford; sons, George and Jack of Stockton and daughter, Heidi Flood of Sacramento. Mr. Flood was the beloved grandfather of Tracy Landes, Matthew Crowson, Michael J. Crowson, Eric S. Crowson, Jonathan P. Flood, U.S. Army, Charles Flood, U.S. Navy and Joanna Flood. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Daniel Flood. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, his daughter-in-law, Dianna Flood and his close friends, Terry and Joann Gulmon and the entire Gulmon Family. Family and friends are invited to attend Graveside Services on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park, Harney Lane and Highway 99, Lodi. Visitation will be Monday, from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California Street, Stockton, CA. Committal will be at Cherokee Memorial Park.
