He was born July 12, 1928, in Russellville, Ark. Mr. Freeman served in the U.S. Army and was a World War II veteran. He was employed as a dye-man at Fibreboard Paper Products in Stockton for 33 years until his retirement in 1981. He attended First Baptist Church in Stockton. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, hiking and spending time with his family and friends. Willis Freeman He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Hazel Freeman, of Lodi; sons, Gary Freeman, of Stockton, Dennis Freeman and Glenn Freeman, both of Lodi; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, John C. Freeman, Tom Freeman and Ardean Williams; and sister, Olla Mae Costa. A chapel service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Lodi Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from noon to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. A virtual register book may be signed at www.lodifuneralhome.com.
