He was born Jan. 5, 1921, in Sylvia, Kan. Mr. Frisk moved to Oakdale early in his life with his family. He was self- employed in real estate and worked for various brokers in the San Joaquin area for 46 years. He also worked as a rodeo rider in his younger years. He was a member of Crossroads Community Nazarene Church in Lodi. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed raising horses. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Frisk, of Stockton; son, Richard Frisk, of Lockeford; daughters, Kathy Johnnaber and Debi Barnett, both of Stockton, Linda Tamplin, of Arizona, Marna Burns, of Arnold; brothers, Ervan Frisk, of Linden, Lester Frisk, of Twin Cities, Frank Frisk, of Oregon, Gerald Frisk, of Missouri, Lawrence Frisk, Jr., of Waterford, and Lew Frisk, of Oregon; and sister, Nona Hartzog, of Oregon. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Sharon and Darlyn Frisk. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Lodi Community Church with the Rev. Scott Hubbard of Crossroads Community Nazarene Church officiating. There will be no visitation and committal will be private. A virtual register book may be signed at www.lodifuneralhome.com.
