Ardelis Gant
Ardelis Louise Jaynes Gant, 70, of Galt, died Oct. 10 at a Stockton hospital 
following a brief illness. She was born June 25, 1935, in Washburn, N.D.

Mrs. Gant was a resident of Galt for over 50 years and served as a bookkeeper 
for St. Pius, Christian Brothers, St. Patrick's Home and St. Rose's Church.

She is survived by her daughter, DavAnn Jaynes Taylor; son, Clifford David 
Jaynes; twin sister, Arlette Lorene Healey, of Lodi; sister, Kathy Wilkerson, 
of Galt; brother, Robert Anderson, of Citrus Heights; and two grandsons, both 
of Asheville, N.C.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clifford David (Jim) Jaynes; 
and second husband, Joseph Gant.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Nautilus Society is in charge of arrangements.
