Born in Jalisco, Mexico, he moved to the United States in the 1960s and worked as a farm laborer before retiring in the 1980s. He enjoyed gardening, playing cards, cooking, listening to music, wearing his cowboy hat and boots and spending time with his friends. Mr. Gonzalez is survived by a brother and a sister from Jalisco, Mexico, and the Bonilla family of Tracy. He was preceded in death by his very close friends, Samuel B. and Maria L. Bonilla and Juan Andrade. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Tracy Cemetery. Published on Wednesday, November 16, 2005, in the Tracy Press.
