He was born May 26, 1932 in Modesto Ca. Jack owned and operated Jack Gatto's CPA Services for more than 45 years. He also was a NCAA and NFL football official for more than 30 years. Jack devoted his time to his community, being involved with football programs, Sober Grad Night, (all three high schools), The Antone Raymus Foundation, Boy Scouts, boys and Girls Club of Manteca, South county Crime Stoppers, St. Anthony's Parish and Manteca Nonprofit Network. He was inducted ino the Manteca hall of fame for the "at large" category for his involvement with athletics', community and business. He served as a director on boards of various organizations including; Cascade Steel, Rolling Mills Inc. and Northern California Officials Association. Among Jack's Involvement with the community, his love was his family, friends and colleagues. Jack will be truly missed and never forgotten. He will be remembered as a loving husband, wonderful father and brother, special grandfather, great boss and loyal friend to many. Surviving Spouse: Barbara Gatto, married 20 years; Children, Dan Gatto of San Diego, Ca, Joe Gatto of Aptos, Ca, Gary Gatto of Stead, NV, John Gatto of Lodi, Ca., Diane Bosworth, James Bosworth, both of Stockton, Ca., Rick Bosworth of Reno, NV; Siblings, Timothea Gato of Manteca, Ca., Patricia Foy, Tim Gatto both of Palo Alto, Ca. Visitation: Thursday March 10, 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Rosary: Thursday, March 10, 7:00 pm. Both at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home. Services: Friday, March 11, 1:30 pm, 505 E. North St. Manteca, Ca.
