She was born May 13, 1930, in Crosby, Minn. Mrs. Rhoades was a resident of Lodi for 31 years. She was employed in the dairy business for 17 years before her retirement. She enjoyed embroidery, quilt making and flowery gardening. She is survived by her daughters, Donna Vejmola, of Lodi, Thelma Martz, of Idaho, and Beverly Wales, of Red Bluff; sons, David Rhodes, of Acampo, Amos "Butch" Rhoades, of Lodi, Randy Rhoades, of Lodi, and Larry Rhoades, of Burson; brothers, Lavern and Dwaine Booth, of Minnesota, and Charles Booth, of Washington; sisters, Pearl Rono, Zada Erickson, Betty Dohse, Mildred Crawford and Mary Hamilton, all of Minnesota, and Laura Saftich, of Washington; 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Rhoades Sr. in 1983; daughter, Selma Hubler; and brothers, Victor, Elde, William, Albert and Irving Booth. A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel at Gierhart-Wells & Donahue Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Sammie P. Walls of Woodbridge Community Church officiating. Committal will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and 8 to 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
