Bernard Ortega


Bernard "Bernie" Ortega, 53, of Lodi, died Aug. 10 at a local hospital. He was 
born June 6, 1951, in Stockton.

Mr. Ortega had worked at Yankee Boats and Acampo Country Store. He was also a 
welder, and was a member of New Harvest Christian Fellowship in Stockton. He 
enjoyed taking long walks, watching sports and barbecuing.

He is survived by his wife, Marina Ortega, of Lodi; daughters, Cilina Ortega 
and Felicia Ortega, both of Lodi; sons, Steven Ortega, of Lodi, and Jason 
Ortega, of Oregon; brother, David Ortega, of Stockton; sisters, MaryLou Ortega 
and Mona Vidabel, both of Stockton; parents, Bernie and Angie Ortega; and seven 
grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday at the Lodi Memorial Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the New Harvest Christian Fellowship, 
1950 E. Cherokee Lane, Stockton, CA.

Gierhart-Wells & Donahue Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
