Vic Breitmaier


Vic Breitmaier, 79, of Galt, died Aug. 18 in a Stockton hospital following a 
lengthy illness. He was born July 23, 1925, in North Dakota.

Mr. Breitmaier was a resident of Galt for 63 years, and worked as a concrete 
finisher. He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He enjoyed 
quarter horses, birddogs, watching sports and hunting.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Shirley Breitmaier; son, Marvin 
Breitmaier; daughter, Karen Breitmaier, of Galt; sister, Emelia Gohl, of Lodi; 
brothers, Abe Breitmaier, of Acampo, and Emil Breitmaier, of Galt; seven 
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Wes Breitmaier; and brother, William 
Breitmaier.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Seventh-day Adventist Church of 
Galt with Rick Wilmot officiating. Committal will follow at Galt Cemetery.

Ben Salas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
