Wilson, 73, of Galt, died Aug. 19 in Galt following a brief illness. He was born April 17, 1931, in Wyoming. Mr. Wilson lived in Loveland, Colo. for 60 years before settling in Galt 13 years ago. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. Richard Wilson He was employed in auto parts delivery at Carquest Auto in Lodi. He also managed bowling alleys and taught bowling, and received the names coach and pops. He was a lifetime member of VFW and the Elks. He enjoyed fishing, camping and all kinds of sports. He is survived by his wife, Judy Wilson, of Galt; son, Brian Wilson, of Galt; daughter, Tami, of Galt; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A memorial gathering will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at Pizza Palace, 227 S. Lincoln Way, Galt. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
