EDGAR H. LOYD


Edgar H. Loyd, age 89, passed away Monday, August 25, 2004, in Roseville. He 
was born on April 21, 1915, in Pennsylvania.

Mr. Loyd is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Minnie; daughter and son-
in-law, Georgia and Ken Denio; son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Janet Loyd and 
grandson, Christopher Loyd.

He is also survived by stepson and wife, Ken and Elaine Theobald, their 
children, Nick Theobald and Julie and Darren Kirack and their two children. His 
sister, June Phipps, also survives him. Mr. Loyd was preceded in death by his 
first wife, Frances Loyd and brother, Walter Loyd.

Mr. Loyd served in the U.S. Army from 1937 to 1939 and retired as an engineer 
from the Southern Pacific Railroad at the age of 62. He will be missed for his 
love of life, music and sense of humor.

There will be a graveside service at Cherokee Cemetery in Lodi, CA on Friday, 
September 3 at 10:00 a.m.

Remembrances to be made on Ed's behalf to Hospice of California.

Lambert Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
