Wiginton Dec. 23, 1919 — April 30, 2004 Private services are planned for retired secretary Alice E. Wiginton, 84, who died Friday at Tracy Convalescent Hospital. Born in Portland, Ore., Mrs. Wiginton moved to Tracy 10 years ago from San Francisco, where she worked as a secretary. She was a lifetime member of Ladies Oriental Shrine. She was an avid reader. Mrs. Wiginton loved the opera and taking trips to Reno, Nev., and Lake Tahoe, and was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan. She was also a lifetime rodeo fan. She will be remembered as a loving mother and friend to many. Mrs. Wiginton is survived by two children, Jeanne Kathleen Bergum, and her husband, Mike, of Tracy, and Diane Louise Wiginton of Pendleton, Ore. She was preceded in death by a brother, Norman Brothers. Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., is handling arrangements.
