Mrs. Mitchell worked part-time for 30 years for Burton's Shoes. She was the first women score keeper for professional baseball and kept score for the Lodi Crushers from 1966-1976. She enjoyed sports, the Giants and Cowboys were her favorites. She kept score for the Lodi High School football and baseball teams, along side her husband who was the announcer. She and her husband loved to travel in their motorhome, often attending spring training camp in Arizona. She loved to fish and could out-catch the entire family. She took great pride in her gardening and embroidery. She is survived by her two sons, Mike and wife, Judy Mitchell and Randy and wife, Annette Mitchell; two daughters, Cheryl Turnbough and Katie Garcia; 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy J. "B.J." Mitchell; two brothers, Harvey and wife, Helene Gonter and Bill Gonter and sister-in-law, Laurel Gonter.
