Robert Love


Robert A. "Digger" Love, 64, of Lodi, died Sept. 2 at a local hospital. He was 
born Aug. 11, 1940, in Virginia.

Mr. Love lived in California most of his life and resided in Lodi for the past 
several years. He worked in auto mechanics and later as a mortician in the 
funeral business for 26 years. He enjoyed fishing, boating, water skiing and 
working on automobiles. He also enjoyed woodworking, and often made wooden 
planes and cars for his children. He was a former member of an archery club, 
and enjoyed the art of shooting with a bow and arrow.

He is survived by his daughter, Kimberley Holliman; son, Shadow Storm; brother, 
Richard Love; sister, Carol Bissig; and three grandchildren.

There will be no service or visitation.

Gierhart-Wells & Donahue Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
