Ray was born April 28, 1927, in Wing, ND on the family farm. He came to California as a young man working in the timber and automobile industry. Ray enjoyed taking the grandchildren camping and fishing. He volunteered his time at the Lodi Community Center, where he especially loved playing Santa. Ray was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church. Raymond Roland Sieglock Ray loved people and would strike up a friendly conversation with complete strangers, leaving them with a smile and good fellowship. Ray was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, friend and Christian who will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife, Palma of 52 years; son, Curtis of Stockton; daughter, Doris and her husband Michael of Southern California; son, Jack and his wife, Brenda of Lodi and five grandchildren, Chris, Mark, Amanda, Allie and Dante. He is also survived by four brothers and five sisters, Johnnie, Herb, Art, Larry, Edna, Bernice, LaVina, Sarah and LaVone. He was preceded in death by brothers, Ivan Leo, Sam and sisters, Martha and Nila. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 1:00 PM at Lodi Memorial Cemetery. Immediately following at 2:00 PM at Memorial Service will be held at Emanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Bill Crabtree as officiant. Visitation will begin on Thursday at 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Lodi Funeral Home and continuing Friday from 8:00 AM until 12 noon. Memorial contributions may be made to Emanuel Lutheran Church, 1540 W. Lodi Avenue, Lodi, CA, 95242 and Lodi Community Center, 415 S. Sacramento Street, Lodi, CA 95240.
