He was 75 years old. He was born in Victor, CA on July 15, 1929, and has lived here all of his life. As a child he attended Alpine Elementary School, Needham Elementary School and graduated from Lodi High School. After he graduated from barbering school he opened his own barbershop. He was a member of the Delta Highlanders, Moose Lodge, the Rifle Range, Yacht Club, Loel Center and The Archer Club. His favorite hobbies were sailing, fishing, archery, and building R.C. planes. Brandon Carlos Purdy Mr. Purdy is preceded in death by his parents, Ida W. Zingelman and Carlos Augustus Purdy. He is survived by his daughter, Alice Joan Purdy of Lodi; two grandchildren Cindy Lea Bentz and Steven Richard Bellamy, both of Lodi; four great grandchildren, Katie Lea Bentz, Joseph Michael Bentz, Erik Matthew Bentz and Nathaniel James Bellamy. There will be a funeral on Tuesday, September 14, at 1:00 p.m. The service will take place in the Evergreen Chapel, Cherokee Memorial Park. There will be visitation on Monday from 1:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 Industrial Way, Lodi. Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
