Beulah Watson


Beulah Irene Watson, 84, formerly of Clements, died Sept. 12 in a Sacramento 
hospital. She was born June 19, 1920, in Aberdeen, S.D.

Mrs. Watson moved to Clements in 1948, and then to Sacramento in 2000. She was 
employed as a secretary for the Clements Fire Department for 27 years until her 
retirement. She was an avid bingo player.


She is survived by her sons, Froy Lee Watson, of Brookings, Ore., and Earl 
Watson, of Acampo; daughters, Esther Ward, of Sacramento, and Donna Toy, of 
Lancaster; brother, Ralph Torgerson, of Keizer, Ore.; seven grandchildren and 
14 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Glenview Cemetery 
in Clements with the Rev. Al Warren and the Rev. Dean Highfill officiating. 
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Gierhart-Wells & Donahue 
Funeral Home.

Gierhart-Wells & Donahue Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
