HORACIO R. ORDONEZ


Mr. Horacio Raul Ordonez of Lodi passed away Tuesday September 14, 2004, in a 
Lodi hospital at the age of 71. Mr. Ordonez was born August 15, 1933, in 
Chihuahua, Mexico to Salvador and Refugia Ordonez.

Mr. Ordonez worked for Valley Industries; a chrome and plating co. for 20 years 
before retiring in 1988. Mr. Ordonez came to the United States as part of the 
Brazero Program in 1946 and worked for his uncle Cruz Ordonez, a labor 
contractor in the Clements area. He was a long time member of St. Anne's 
Catholic Church and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will 
be best remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Margarita Ordonez of Lodi; 1 son, 
Sergio Ordonez of Lodi; 2 daughters, Sylvia Parades of Lodi; Teresa Tapia of 
Lodi; 2 sisters, Margarita Ordonez De Coss of Hobbs, NM; and Clementina Ordonez 
De Mendoza of Mexico; 6 grandchildren, Jasmine, Louis and Andre Paderes, Juan 
Tapia, Jr., Isaac and Daisy Tapia all of Lodi.

Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00-8:00 pm at Lodi Funeral Home.

A rosary will be held Sunday 7:00 pm at Lodi Funeral Home.

A funeral mass will be held Monday September 20, 2004, 10:00 am at St. Anne's 
Catholic Church, followed by interment at Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery.
