Ethel Weil


Ethel Lucille Weil, 81, of Davis and formerly of Lodi, died Sept. 14 in her 
home. She was born Ethel Lucille White on Jan. 20, 1923, in Imperial.

Mrs. Weil lived in Stockton before relocating to Lodi in 1958. She was a 
resident of Lodi for 40 years until moving to Davis in 1999. She was the owner 
of an auto dealership and was also employed as a secretary for the Lodi Unified 
School District. She enjoyed dancing, gardening, gambling at Lake Tahoe, 
playing cards and games, and being with people.

She is survived by her son, Gregory Kidd, of Bellevue, Wash,; daughter, Roberta 
Allen, of Davis; sister, Dorothy Brunning, of Laguna Woods; five grandchildren 
and three great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Tulare District Cemetery 
with Pastor Daniel McSwane officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Yolo Hospice, P.O. 
Box 1014, Davis, CA 95617.

Goble-Miller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
