Sandra Crusos


Sandra Crusos, 58, of Stockton and formerly of Lodi, died Sept. 24 after a 
lengthy illness. She was born Sandra McElvain on May 11, 1946, in Greyeagle.

Mrs. Crusos to the Lodi area 35 years ago and lived in Lodi for 29 years. She 
was employed at Farmers & Merchants Bank as a proof operator for 12 years, 
before retiring in 1999.

She enjoyed fishing, road trips, dancing, music and theater, and spending time 
with her grandchildren. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her daughter, Nicole Crusos Burge, of Stockton; sister, 
Marilyn Olsen, of Portola; brother, Buck McElvain, of Reno; and numerous 
grandchildren and step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Doug Joy; second husband, Nick 
Crusos; and brother, Larry McElvain.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Lodi Funeral Home chapel 
with Chaplain Tony Berry officiating. Committal will be private.

Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. today.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of San 
Joaquin, 2277 Watt Ave., Sacramento, CA 95825; or to the Hospice of San 
Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Ave., Stockton. CA 95204-1953.
