She was born Sept. 11, 1918, in Oklahoma. Mrs. Fair resided in Acampo for the past 63 years. She was employed by Pacific Coast Producers for 26 years until her retirement. She was a member of Woodbridge Community Church, where she was an active Sunday school teacher and sang in the choir. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. She is survived by her daughters, Kaye White, of Georgia, and Teresa Simmons, of Oklahoma; sons, Gary Fair, of Lodi, and Larry Fair, of Georgia; brothers, Marvin Hart, of Washington, and Willis Hart, of Acampo; sisters, Fern Hull, of Lodi; Beverly Thompson, of Washington, and Betty James, of Acampo; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Verna Faye Fair and Janet Simmons; and brother, Harold Eugene Hart. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Cherokee Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Sammie Walls of Woodbridge Community Church officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and from 8 a.m. to noon Monday at Gierhart-Wells & Donahue Funeral Home.
