Sylvia Smith
Sylvia JoAnne Smith, 64, of Lodi and formerly of Galt, died Oct. 2 in her home. 
She was born Aug. 12, 1940, in Los Angeles.

She was employed as a bookkeeper at various trucking companies in the Lodi 
area. She was a member of Zion Christian Center in Lodi.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Scott Kyles, of Lodi, and Mark Jenkins, of 
Redding; daughter, Stepanie Shaffer, of Henson, Idaho; brother, Myron Smith, of 
Oakridge, Ore.; sister, Patti Langan, of Eugene, Ore.; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Zion Christian Fellowship. 
Interment will be private at the Lodi Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion Christian 
Fellowship, 715 S. Central, Lodi, CA 95240.
