Bill House
Bill R. House, 66, of Tracy, died Sept. 18 in his home following a lengthy 
illness. He was born July 18, 1938, in Visalia.

Mr. House was raised and attended schools in the Galt area. He married Betty 
Hamrick and lived in Lodi for many years. He later married Jane Cochrane, and 
settled in Tracy in 1980. He spent his adult years in the transportation and 
moving business, and owned and operated agencies for major van lines in 
Sacramento and Stockton. He served as an auxiliary police officer in Lodi. He 
was an avid hunter and sport fisherman.

He is survived by is wife, Jane House; daughters, Pamela Giampetro, of 
Stockton, Cindy Kibbe, of Carson City, Nev., Heidi Young, of Monroe, Ga., and 
Melissa Cochrane-Dillard, of Tracy; sons, Jon House, and Jerry House, both of 
Lodi; sister, Ellen Schlenker, of Valley Springs; brother, Ben House, of 
Modesto; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Amanda House.

A memorial service will be held Sunday in Tracy. Cremation and a private burial 
were held on Oct. 1 at sea.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of San Joaquin.

Neptune Society is in charge of arrangements.
