Evelyn Drewry
Evelyn Charlotte Drewry, 80, of Galt, died Oct. 17 in her home following a 
brief illness. She was born Evelyn Charlotte Royer on Feb. 28, 1924, in 
Colorado Springs, Colo.

Mrs. Drewry lived in the Galt area for 55 years. She was married for 60 years, 
and worked as a dairy woman. She was a member of the Arcohe School Mother Club, 
and the Ladies Aid Colony.

She is survived by her daughter, Katherine, of Galt; sons, Randy, of Galt, 
Barzilee, of San Antonio, Texas, and Alfred, of Longview, Wash.; nine 
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Ben Salas Funeral Home with Pastor 
Bob Patterson of First Baptist Church of Galt officiating. Committal will 
follow at Galt Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday 
at the funeral home.

Ben Salas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
