Jerry Henderson
Jerry O. Henderson, 62, of Galt, died Oct. 20 in a local hospital following a 
brief illness. He was born Nov. 4, 1941, in Yadkin, N.C.

Mr. Henderson moved to Pleasanton with his family in 1945, where he was raised. 
He graduated from Amador High School in Pleasanton, and then served in the Army 
from 1960-63. He married his wife Pamella in 1974 in Pleasanton. In 1994, he 
and his wife moved to Lodi, and then to Galt in 1995. He worked in the family 
French Laundry Business, then was employed in car sales by Crown Chevrolet in 
Pleasanton. He worked as a painter for 30 years, including eight years for the 
Lodi Unified School District. He enjoyed golfing.

He is survived by his wife, Pamella Henderson, of Galt; son, Mark Henderson, of 
Roseville; daughter, Kellie Henderson, of Placerville; step-son, Paul Marty, of 
Livermore; sisters, Jean Bloodgood, of Livermore, and Peggy Georgis, of Angels 
Camp; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth MacLauchlan; and brother, Johnny 
Henderson.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be private.

Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
