She was born in Lumbrada on the island of Korcula in Croatia as Doma Nobilo. In 1931, she married Anton Duzevic (presumed deceased since World War II). She worked in her family's vineyard until 1967, when she moved to the United States to live with her daughter's family in Stockton. In 1979, she moved to Lodi. She became permanently incapacitated after she suffered a stroke in 1982. She is survived by her daughter, Tina Arbanasin and son-in-law, Robert Arbanasin of Lodi; grandchildren, Katherine, Tina and John Arbanasin; great- grandson, Mark Arbanasin; brother, Miko Nobilo of New Zealand and his sons, and nephews, Stipe, Miko and Ivo Nobilo and niece Zora Batistic of Croatia. She is preceded in death by her bothers, Ivo and Marko, her sister, Anta and her grandchildren, Robert Arbanasin and Donna Arbanasin. Family and friends are invited to attend a Rosary service Sunday, October 24, 2004, at 3:00 p.m. at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton, CA. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, October 25 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church, 1663 E. Main St., Stockton.
