Markillie-Malliband, 35, died of complications related to colititis after a short illness in a San Jose Hospital. She attended grade and high school in Turlock, CA. Amber lived in Stockton for many years, working in property management. She was the assistant manager at March West Commons and also worked for JCM properties and I-5 storage facility. She recently moved to Cupertino, and was employed by the American Leisure Company. She was very involved in Animal Rescue Services in Stockton and Cupertino. Her most favorite times were spent with her children and family, camping and fishing. She leaves behind to mourn her, her children, Aunna, Victor, and Maycen; her mother, Peggy Reynolds-Carruthers; her father, Bruce Markillie; her sister, Lei Ann Barney. She was preceded in death by 4 days, her brother, Robert Markillie; also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Visitation: Sat., Oct. 23, 2004, from 12 - 5 p.m. at Lakewood Funeral Home, Hughson, CA. Services: Sun., Oct. 24, 11 a.m. at Lakewood Funeral Home. Inurnment will be private. A Trust Fund has been set up in the name of Amber Markillie-Malliband at Golden 1 Credit Union, 3025 McHenry Ave., Modesto, California.
