Thelma Ramey
Thelma Louise Ramey, 75, of Galt, died Oct. 21 in a local hospital. She was 
born Thelma Louise Chandler on June 30, 1929, in Frankfurt, Ky.

Mrs. Ramey was a resident of Vacaville for 30 years, and of Lockeford for 15 
years before moving to Galt two years ago. She was employed by the City of 
Vacaville in the police and public works departments. She was a member of the 
Red Hat Society and was the former president of WPA of Vacaville. She enjoyed 
quilting, playing cards and sewing.

She is survived by her sons, Dennis Ramey, of Vacaville, Duane Ramey, of Elk 
Grove, and Don Ramey, of Fallbrook; daughter, Bobbi Hovey, of Vacaville; 11 
grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Ramey in 1995.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ben Salas Funeral Home, 
149 4th Street, Galt. Committal will be private. There will be no visitation. 
Ben Salas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
