She was 87 years old. She was born on November 5, 1916 in Bisbee, Arizona to Philo and Maude Halleck. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Fred Spicer. She lived in Stockton for 41 years. She was a school teacher for several years. She is survived by son, Bill and his wife, Janeth Spicer of Stockton. Grandchildren and their spouses, Kristie and George Garcia of Stockton, Lisa and Jay Spinelli of Mississippi. 3 great-grandchildren, Angelica, Marissa and Anthony. At Edith's request there will be a private internment at Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi. Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
