Tran Oct. 20, 1917 - Oct. 24, 2004 Giao X. Tran passed away peacefully on October 24, 2004. Mr. Tran was born in Vietnam on October 20, 1917. Mr. Tran is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Buom Thi Ho Tran, of Stockton. Mr. Tran had 4 precious children, Tung T. Tran and his wife, Lien T.K. Tran, of Stockton, Reverend Tu Xuan Tran and his wife, Nhung Thi Tran, of Vietnam, Thu X. Tran and her husband, Andy Murray, of Stockton and Dr. Nick E. Tran of Washington DC. In 1981, Mr. Tran and his family emigrated from Vietnam to the Untied States, first to Bastrop, Texas before settling in Stockton in 1988. In 1995 Mr. Tran realized his dream of becoming a United States citizen. Mr. Tran is devoted to his 9 grandchildren, ThuAnn Joe and her husband, Dale Joe, of Rocklin, Dr. Alisha Truong and her husband, Hai Truong, of Sacramento, Dr. Ashley Clark and her husband, Dr. Michael Clark, of San Diego, Thinh X. Tran and his wife, Betty Tran, of Clackamas, Oregon, Phi Tuy Tran and her sister, Phuy Thuong Tran and her brother, Thach Ngoc Tran, of Vietnam, and Crystal Murray and her brother Kevin Murray, of Stockton. Mr. Tan is also the proud great-grandfather of 5, Sydney Joe and her brother Riley Joe, of Rocklin, Thomas Truong and his brother, Joseph Truong of Sacramento and Vivian Clark of San Diego. Please join in the celebration of Mr. Tran's life on Thursday, October 28, 2004, at Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi, (Highway 99 and Harney Lane) at 1:00 p.m. A private viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2004 from 1:00- 8:00 p.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi.
