Jennie as she was known to her family and many friends was born January 2, 1918, in Steger, Illinois. She grew up in Steger with a brother and six sisters. In the spring of 1948 on a trip to California with her brother and two sisters she met Raymond Guadagnolo. They were married November 21, 1948, and made their home in Linden, CA, where they raised three children. Jennie was a devoted mother and homemaker. She was active in church and community functions, and was also a S.T.A.R.S. volunteer with more than 5,000 hours of service. She will be deeply missed by family and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Saverado and Marie Laporte, brother, Frank Laporte, sisters, Theresa Luzi, Rosie Ross, Dolly Bartusiewicz all of Floosmore, Illinois, and grandson, Ryan Guadagnolo of Linden, California. She is survived by her husband Raymond; daughter, Joann of Stockton; sons, Gerald and Robert of Linden; sisters, Connie Franze and Francis Franze of Floosmore, Illinois, sister, Victoria Pulcini of Peachtree City, Georgia; five grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a Vigil Service at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton on Wednesday, October 27, 2004, at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 18633 E. Front Street, Linden on Thursday, October 28, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be held at DeYoung Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Committal: Linden Cemetery.
