Mr. Sanchez was born April 23, 1922 in Guanajuato, Mexico to Tomas and Maria Sanchez. Mr. Sanchez worked for Southern Pacific Railroad as Railroad Foreman for 43 years before retiring in 1986. He later worked for Boe thing Tree Farm in Lodi until most recent time. Mr. Sanchez was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church. Mr. Sanchez was a United States Army Air Corps and WWII veteran. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends; he also enjoyed dancing, fishing, gardening, traveling, and was avid football fan. He will be best remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Mrs. Aurora Sanchez of Woodbridge; 4 sons, David Sanchez, Jr. of Stockton; Thomas Sanchez of Stockton; Rudy Sienega of Elk Grove; Michael Sienega of Sacramento; 6 daughters, Andrea Madrid of Galt; Irene Sandoval of Stockton; Mary Helen Moore of Stockton; Martha San chez of Lodi; Alicia Peralta of W. Sacramento; Diana Gonzales of Lodi; 3 brothers, Adolfo Sanchez of Stockton; Gomez Sanchez of Stockton; Tomas Sanchez of Stockton; 2 sisters; Mary Ramirez of Sacramento; Stella Rodriguez of Acampo, 21 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. He was pre-ceded in death by his first wife Elvira Sanchez in 1969, 2 brothers, Joe Sanchez and Jess Sanchez, 2 grandchildren, Alex Madrid and Alice Sauseda. A Church Service will be held Thursday, October 28, 2004, at 1:00 pm at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Lodi, followed by interment at the San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery in Stockton. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. at the Lodi Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 12:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Lodi Funeral Home.
