Died Saturday, October 23, 2004, in Reno, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Seeley Hanson. They had been married fifty-six years and were sealed for time and all eternity on August 27, 1956 in the LDS Temple in Salt Lake City. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Duane Howard Hanson and Betty Jo Harden Hanson, of American Fork, Utah and her daughter and son-in-law, Dolores Clarissa Hanson Evans and Richard Frank Evans, of Reno, Nevada. Also surviving her are her nine grandchildren, Dana Kristine Hanson Campbell, Heather Lynn Hanson Griffis, Dusty Paul Hanson, Cynthia Christine Evans, Donna Lee Evans Saba, Pollyanna Elizabeth Evans Luce, Richard Todd Evans, Michael Joseph Evans and Clarissa Afton Evans and sixteen great-grandchildren. When she was three, her parents moved their family to Arizona to homestead. Within a couple of years, they returned to California. Her early school years were spent around Stockton and Lodi, California. Her secondary school years were spent near Roosevelt, Utah where she met her husband. They married on October 25, 1935 in Stockton, California. After living in Mojave, California, Roosevelt and Orem, Utah, they settled and raised their family in Stockton. After her husband's death, in 1992 she moved from Stockton to Reno, Nevada where she resided with her daughter and son-in-law. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was held in high esteem by church members, close friends and family. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2004, at 12:00 p.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel, 935 Mercedes Drive, Spanish Springs, Nevada 89436. Burial will be next to her husband at Cherokee Memorial Park, Lodi, California. A Committal Service will be held on Monday, November 1, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Walton's Sparks Funeral Home, 1745 Sullivan Lane, Sparks, Nevada.
