Delbert "Jeff" Jeffries 

Aug. 11, 1936 - Oct. 26, 2004



Delbert "Jeff" Jeffries, 68, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2004, in a 
accident near Arnold, CA, car hit by a falling tree. He was born on August 11, 
1936 in Tracy, CA. He was a truck driver for Chevron Oil Company for 37 years 
and a resident of Arnold for the past 18 years, previously a resident of 
Stockton. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose in Arnold, member of 
Ducks Unlimited, former member of Stockton Police Reserve and Alpine County 
Sheriff's Reserve. He was a former handgun instructor for the Stockton Police 
Department and the FBI. He was an avid Raiders fan. 
Survived by wife of 47 years, Bonnie Jeffries of Arnold; beloved dog, Savannah 
Rose; daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie Jeffries Lucero and her husband Steven. 
Private family service will be held at a later date. Private inurnment. 
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Calaveras Co., P.O. 
Box 2065, San Andreas, CA 95249.
