Mauree Massey 
April 9, 1923 - October 27, 2004



Mauree Massey passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2004. She was born in 
Mississippi and moved to Stockton in 1939. She was married to Glen Massey for 
40 years until his death in 1987. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker 
who loved sewing, gardening and making her house a home for her family. Most of 
all, she enjoyed having the company of her family around her. 
She is survived by her four daughters, June of Benicia, Denise and Peggy of 
Stockton and Gayle of Walnut Creek; and three sons-in-law, Chuck Castle, Dan 
McDonnell and Robert Peters. She also has five grandchildren, Denise's 
children, Marc, Holly and Clayton and Gayle's children, Cameron and Halle. She 
will be missed dearly. The family would like to express a very special thank 
you to the staff at Meadowood Convalescent Hospital who took wonderful care of 
our mother.
A private funeral service will be held at the DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. 
California St., Stockton on Sunday, October 31, 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Private 
Committal, Rural Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the National Stroke Association, Northern 
California Chapter of NSA, 2787 Eureka Way, Suite 201, Redding, CA 96001.
