He was born Aug. 10, 1916, in Wewoka, Okla. Mr. Fisher served in the 86th Infantry Div., Battery B., 331st Field Artillery Battalion. He lived in Fremont for 30 years, and moved to the Galt area in 1972. He was a steelworker by trade, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding bikes and picking up cans. He is survived by his brother, Henry Fisher, of Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Beatrice; and son, David Fisher. A graveside service was held Oct. 28 at Cherokee Memorial Park. There was no visitation. Ben Salas Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
