He was born June 18, 1937, in Burlin, Newfoundland, Canada. Mr. Mayo moved to California in 1984. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed as a civil servant in transportation for the Federal Government at McClellan Air Force Base, and retired after 20 years of service. He enjoyed automotive restoration, and was a history buff. Willis Mayo He is survived by his son, Jeff Mayo, of Lodi; and brothers, Ralph and Frank Mayo, both of Canada. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marjorie Forden. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Lodi Funeral Home. There will be no visitation and committal will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1212 W. Robinhood Drive, Ste. 5-D, Stockton, CA 95207.
