Harp February 4, 1930 - October 29, 2004 Mrs. Margaret F. Harp, 74, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2004 in a Stockton hospital. Margaret was born February 4, 1930 in Memphis, Texas. She has lived in Stockton for over 50 years. Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Jay Harp, her daughter, Pearl Harp and her sister, Betty Jo Hyatt. Margaret had a special gift for always taking care of people. Anytime anyone needed anything they could always rely on her. Margaret took great pride in helping to raise her two granddaughters, Sherri and April and over the last few years of her life her daughter Betty took great care of her. Margaret is survived by her children, Eddie Harp of Manteca, Steve Harp, Ronnie Harp and Betty Harp of Stockton; her brothers, Ray Long and Bill Long of Stockton, Curtis Long of Modesto, Alton Long of Compton and Dennis Long of Tracy; her sisters, Elaine O'Bosky of Las Vegas, Irene Long of New Mexico, Shirley Cox, Dorothy Morey and Louise Hostetter of Modesto and numerous grandchildren. No visitation will be held. A Grave side Service will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. at Parkview Cemetery in French Camp.
