Ruth Pratt
Ruth Thompson Pratt, 87, of Lodi, died Nov. 3 at a local hospital. She was born 
June 9, 1917, in Acampo.

Mrs. Pratt attended Houston School and graduated from Lodi Union High School in 
1937. She married LaVern E. Pratt in 1937, and they made their home in Lodi. 
She was a member of Bethel Open Bible Church, where she taught primary classes 
for many years. She was also a homemaker, and also attended Century Assembly.

She is survived by her daughter, Gayle Wagner, of Wilton; son, Ken Pratt, of 
Lockeford; sister, Aileen Moore, of Desert Hot Springs; five grandchildren and 
nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, LaVern E. Pratt; brothers, Kenneth 
and Merle Thompson; and great-grandson, Kyle Bennett.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Cherokee Memorial Park 
with the Rev. Harold Duncan officiating. There will be no visitation.
