She was born May 19, 1925, in Pasadena. Mrs. Turner earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Christian Education. She lived in Lodi from 1958 to 1968, where she was the wife of the pastor of First Assembly of God and Westside Assembly of God. She was a choir director and enjoyed playing the violin and piano. She enjoyed world traveling and the women's ministries. After her retirement in 1990, she returned to Lodi. She was a member of Century Assembly Church, Northern California-Nevada District Assemblies of God, and Southern California District Assemblies of God. She is survived by her husband, R. Delbert Turner, of Lodi; sons, Paul Forrest, of Anaheim Hills, and Craig Forrest, of Fullerton; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gene Forrest in 1994. A funeral will be held at noon Monday at Century Assembly Church with the Rev. Dale Edwards officiating. Committal will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Lodi Funeral Home. A virtual register book may be signed at www.lodifuneralhome.com.
