James N. Harris, Sr. 
June 3, 1926 - Nov. 1, 2004



James N. Harris, Sr., 78, passed away Monday, November 1, 2004 in Stockton. He 
was born June 3, 1926 in Pulaski, Alabama and has lived in Stockton for 52 
years. Mr. Harris was a retired machine operator, who worked at a cannery for 
31 years. He was a former member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Stockton and 
the Teamsters Union.
Mr. Harris is survived by his wife, Maggie Harris of Stockton; his 8 children, 
Mary Elizabeth Martin of Tenn., Wanda Sue Rouse of Oregon, Joyce Ann Harris of 
Wheat-land, CA, Roger Harris, Vernon Harris, Barbara Harris and Jerry Harris, 
all of Stockton, James Harris, Jr. of Manteca and Ronnie Hart of Tenn; his 
brother, Charles Franklin Harris; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services are Thursday, November 4, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. at Farmington 
Memorial Cemetery. No visitation. Committal at Farmington Memorial Cemetery.
