Catalina Unajan Stokes 
Nov. 13, 1937 - Nov. 1, 2004 

Catalina Unajan Stokes, 66, of Stockton passed peacefully in her home, on the 
clear autumn morning of Monday, November 1, 2004. She was born in the 
Philippines and immigrated to the United States in 1960. She put her family 
above all else and will be remembered as a stylish woman who was always happy, 
fun loving and generous. She tended to her husband, children, and her garden. 
She enjoyed playing a game of cards, loved to sew and crochet, go shopping and 
a good laugh. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew 
her. She is survived by her devoted husband of 45 years, Robert Eugene Stokes; 
caring sons, Steven, Shannon and Saxton; loving daughters, Sandra Scott, Susan 
Stokes-Gibson, Sheryl Burgess and Stacey Lane; and 9 adoring grandchildren. 
Memorial Services from Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in French Camp, CA, 
on Saturday, November 6, 2004, at 2:00 p.m., Elder Augustine Franks officiating.
