Robert Michelson
Robert Ralph Michelson, 84, of Lodi, died Nov. 6 in a Lodi hospital. He was 
born August 15, 1920, in Martin, N.D.

Mr. Michelson worked as an inspector and line operator for 42 years before 
retiring in 1988. He was a member of the First Baptist of Church in Lodi. He 
was an avid golfer and enjoyed photography, woodworking and traveling.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mrs. Frieda Michelson, of Lodi; son, 
Robert Gene Michelson, of Lodi; daughters Carol Sims, of Sacramento, and Karen 
Funk, of Lodi; brothers, Victor Michelson, of Evenprairie, Wyo., and Marvin 
Michelson, of Martin, N.D.; sisters, Florence Freuh, of Rugbee, N.D., LaVern 
Kruger, of Denver, Shirley Horne, of Minneapolis, and Jeanie Peterson, of 
Fargo, N.D.; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, the Rev. Lawrence Michelson, in 2003.

A church service will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the fist Baptist 
Church in Lodi, followed by interment at the Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from noon until 8 p.m.
